Name:

FaceSeekr co-pastors C Team Chapel, alongside her husband, they go into the highways and hedges and compel “THEM” to come in. Delivered in 1986, by the Grace of God, from a lifestyle that carries it’s own death sentence. She had fellowshipped with spirits all her life, living life on the Dark Side, and practicing all the vices that go along with it. Drugs, alcohol, perversion and witchcraft had led her to the place THEY wanted her to be. BUT GOD… Had other plans. He reached in and Pulled her from the hold of Satan. Now, she who has been forgiven much, reaches back and helps Pull others from the flames.

Do you have one or know of one?

My Hubby and I have a Church in Nashville, we have been working in the homeless, innercity folk, and prison/jail ministry since 1985.
Three years ago we moved our church family into our halfway house here in Nashville. The reason was that the building we were leasing was sold.
At the time we were serving @ 1200 hot meals a week in our soup kitchen and holding services 6 days a week.
After much prayer and seeking the Lord's will we feel the need to rekindle the work to "the least of these".
We have @ 30 committed members who are in agreement that it is time to reopen the hot meal ministry, with a focus on inner city families.
To do this we need a larger more accessible church building.
We are looking in the downtown to east areas, must have kitchen, would like a baptismal, big enough to seat 300, Parking.
We are a 501C3 and can give tax credit, we can not buy at this time.
Follow your heart.

Thank you for reading this post,

WARNING !!!!

I hope you do not mind but I was feeling a need for a laugh, thought you might be too.

Warning Labels

These are actual warning labels on consumer goods:

On Sears hair dryer: Do not use while sleeping.

On a bag of Fritos: You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside.

On a bar of Dial soap: Directions: Use like regular soap.

Some Swanson frozen dinners: Serving suggestion: Defrost.

On a hotel-provided shower cap in a box: Fits one head.

On Tesco's Tiramisu desert: Do not turn upside down. (Printed on the bottom of the box.)

On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding: Product will be hot after heating

Now these made me think, should we place warning labels on :

Bibles: Warning! Reading may cause eternal life, “life and life abundantly” may result if precepts found within are adhered to !

Christians: Warning! May exude light. Miracles could manifest when one or more are present !

Churches: Warning! May contain imperfect people serving a Prefect God !

The World: Warning! Christians this IS your mission field! Use before expiration date!

I am Thankful

I am thankful, Lord, to you
It is You who sees me through
Guiding me along the way
Growing in me more each day

Giving me the easy task
A loving walk, is all You ask
The path you’ve made is very clear
Just love the ones that You hold dear

Today I’ll seek to see Your face
With Your Will please mine replace
Thankful am I, Lord, to You
You are “the Faithful” and “the True”

New Year

I would like to encourage you to do something new for the New Year.
Our Jewish friends are celebrating New Year’s this month with Rosh Hashanah. Rosh Hashanah means "head of the year" and is commonly known as the Jewish New Year.
One message of Rosh Hashanah is to break our old patterns, and begin anew or to renew ourselves, returning to God’s path.
Do something NEW, sing a song you have never sung before. Read a book you have never read before. Walk in a place you have never walked before. Touch a hand you have never touched before. Pray a prayer you never have prayed before. Give a gift you have never given before. Break out of the regularness of your life and RENEW yourself , by choosing to be a blessing somewhere to someone, in a way you never have before. I predict YOU will be blessed in a way you never have been blessed  before.

Col 3:10-17
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

"Situational ethics"

"Situational ethics" - lies that sound nice

By Joyce Morrison
from eco-logic Powerhouse

9/1/04

"To call a spade a spade" is an old saying that dates back to about 300 B.C., meaning "to speak forthright."

If something was a lie, it was called a lie. Now, we call it "situational ethics."

The situation could mean that we would benefit, if we don't tell the whole truth - just one side is told, and we just conveniently forget to tell the rest.

Or, maybe we stretch the facts to make a situation appear to be different from what it is.

In election years, we hear a lot of "situational ethics."

When the serpent tempted Eve, he changed one word, and the whole meaning of what God had said was changed... and, they were deceived in the Garden. This was the beginning of "situational ethics."

How have we gotten so politically correct, that if someone lies today, he is excused by "situational ethics," and he is not held accountable? In order to promote an agenda, a situation calls for a certain response. The ethics of today permits you to tell the story to fit your situation, regardless if it is the whole truth, and in spite of its potential impact on someone else

Do I

Do I want to be seen
Do I want to be known
I groan

Should I expose, disclose
Or rather repose

Should I be sweet
And try to entreat
Or just be discreet
And leave it alone

Should I exude
Seek to include
Reveal to the masses

The thought quickly passes
I’ll leave it alone

Confess this Daily

Confess this Daily

Father, I come to You, in the Name of Jesus, to express my desire that I be filled with the knowledge Your Will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that I will walk worthy of You Lord, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of You; strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness. I give thanks unto You, Father, Who has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light. You, Lord, have delivered me from the power of darkness and conveyed, translated, moved me into the kingdom of Your Dear Son, the Son of Your Love. In You, Lord Jesus, I have redemption through Your Blood, even the forgiveness of sins. (Col 1:9-14)

Lord, I declare, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me. (Gal 2:20)

Father, I thank You have not received spirit of the world, but I have received You, the Holy Spirit; that I might know the things that are freely given to me by You. I thank You that I have the mind of the Christ, and do hold to Your thoughts and feelings, and that I am taught by You. (1 Cor 2:12&16)

I am thankful that You Lord, are making known to me the riches of the glory of this mystery; which is Christ in me. My hope of glory! (Col 1:27-28)

I rejoice in You Lord always. I let my position of Grace be made known to all men, and I tell of Your soon Return. I am Faith-full, not Care-full. I cover everything in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. I let my requests be made known to You, Lord, so that the PEACE of God, Your tangible and evident PEACE, that passes all understanding, has a unhindered path to keep my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Therefore Lord, whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report; I think on these things. Things I have learned, received, heard, and seen of You, I do; and You, the God of peace are with me. For when I choose Your Way, I have Your PEACE.
(Phil 4:4-9) (John 5:30)

For You, Lord, did not given me the spirit of timidity (fear and cowardice) that draws back; but You gave me the Spirit of power, and of love, and of a calm, well-balanced, disciplined and controlled mind. (2 Tim 1:7)

I truly want to thank You, Father, because You have made it possible for me to say, “I can do all things through Christ (the Anointed One, and His Anointing) which strengthens me!”
(Phil 4:13)
